Another day at the zoo

Summer is drawing to a close and we have been spending many of our mornings visiting some furry friends at the zoo. We even rode the train and the carousel which she would ride over and over again if I would let her! The critter encounters is a must see to pet the goats and check on good ole donkey. No trip would be complete without our 20 minute visit to her favorite animal, the elephant. I am going to miss these morning runs to the zoo when school starts next week.

Cake lady

On Saturday, Betsey and I took advantage of our living social deal at a little place called sweet wise. We learned how to decorate a cake and turn it into something Martha Stewart would be proud to display in her home. And the best part was getting to take home your well crafted cake to devour in the comfort of your own home!
